The overarching vision of Smart Operations (SOP) is to improve efficiency through
better onshore/offshore communication, multi-disciplinary collaboration decision
making and improved work process. A Petoro study, performed by Capgemini, concludes
that a successful SOP program must include four themes: technology, people, process
and implementation.
